The open base leaves the bottom vents and ports exposed so airflow stays unrestricted and the LAN cables exit at the side without bending sharply. A practical alternative to setting the cylindrical Deco M4 on a console or floor where pets and toddlers can knock it loose. Mounts to drywall, a wood stud, or the side of a cabinet with two screws.
