This portafilter stand and tamping holder for the Breville 54mm dual spout portafilter cradles the basket upright on the counter for stable tamping. It gives the portafilter a settled home on the coffee station.
The portafilter rests spout down in the hexagonal holder, so you can press evenly into the grounds with both hands and get a level, well-compacted puck each time. The recessed well catches stray drips and grounds, and the flat-faced base keeps the holder from rolling. It suits a Breville Barista Express routine. Hand wash only, not dishwasher safe.
