This pinning tray keeps every part in order while you take apart and re-pin a lock. Numbered slots hold pins and springs from the first chamber to the last, and separate compartments hold the plug, cap and small clips so nothing gets mixed up between locks.
The recessed layout stops tiny parts from rolling off the bench. Load each slot as you tear the lock down, then pin the chambers back in sequence. It is a handy bench tray for lock picking practice, rekeying and learning how pin tumbler locks work.
