Air Layering Root Ball Pod for Plant Propagation
This root ball pod clamps around a stem or branch so new roots can grow before you cut. The new plant stays attached to the parent while it roots, which gives a higher success rate than rooting cuttings in water.
The two-part sphere closes over the chosen node, and you pack it with moss or another medium. Once roots fill the pod, open it, separate the new plant and pot it on. The pod is reusable and works on houseplants, shrubs, fruit trees and woody garden plants.
